Keep track of this guy!!! I was so thrilled when I received the call to photograph Bransen in Blue Springs. His parents are old freinds of mine. This picture is from my first Easter Session this morning. I cannot thank Michelle Guinn and her daughter Haley enough for taking care of the lambs. They are so sweet and cute. I cannot wait to feed them with the bottles.

I also want to thank Kristen Treece for being my first session this morning. They were kind of my trial and error session. We found out a few interesting facts.

#1 Please bring extra people with you if you can, we will need all the extra hands.

#2 Lamb Pee Pee does dry!!!

#3 They are quick little boogers. (I guess I mean the kids and the lamb. LOL)

Anyway, I know all the sessions will be more than just cute pictures, they will be memories to write about in their baby/child scrapbooks.

This year the American Miniature Horse Association chose one of the studio's pictures for the front cover of the Rule Book.

This photo was taken in 2009 at the Central Championship Show in Wichita, Kansas.

For all of you that know Noah's mommy, you can totally visualize this in your head. :)
Angie looked amazing in her dress clothes and black dress shoes and fabulous coat, (which I woul love to have). We started out to the picture taking place and oops, Angie took one step into snow that was a little deeper than we thought. WELL!!!!, Angie threw caution to the wind and totally sacrificed her outfit and warmth for the chance to get awesome pictures. WOW, and we did. This is a small sample too!! Thanks Angie for making a snow angel. I was impressed even though Noah thought you were nuts. LOL

Little Landon's dad came with him for his 1 year pictures a couple of days ago, and what did his mommy tell me tonite at the Halloween pics? His daddy broke his leg. EEks, pretty bad from what I hear, plus it is time to Harvest.

PS If you see a dark haired lady driving a combine somewhere she shouldn't be, don't worry. I think Erin is taking over the Harvesting this year. :)

Anyway, I wanted to get a sneak up for dad who is laid up for 6 weeks on the couch. Heal Soon.

Looking for a Runner!!!

I have been running 5k's this fall and loved it. I have a race coming up November 26th in Jefferson City (Thanksgiving Day Early) no guilt the rest of the day when I pig OUT!!!, and one on New Years Eve in Columbia, Missouri at 4pm (I am to old to party anymore, LOL)
I have met some really nice people along the way, they are always ready to help you keep going or finish the races.
I think the most memorable for me was a Hill run around the State Capitol a month ago. It was sooo hard with all the hills and raining. I ended up passing a guy toward the end and he yelled out to go for it!! I have tons of examples like that.

I am searching for a running partner. You don't need to be ready for any races yet, but you must be ready to start training for one.

The goal is to run a Full Marathon next year!!!!
You must be willing to run 4-5 days a week. You must be willing to run in rain, snow and cold.
Also, check out the new fitness place in town. My friend Allison is the owner and it is so nice. GYM 413 ROCKS!!!!

The tiny little blonde beauty is Lilly, she is the next Holden track star. LOL, she is one fast little girl. Her beautiful big sister is Gracie and she has patience to match.

Gracie and her mommy and I worked really hard the other day to see how long we could get Lilly to stand still. I remember once, I was closer to Lilly than her mommy was and all craziness was goin on and her mommy yelled , "do you want me to push the button on the camera?", Yes and Yes!!!

Okay, I can honostly say, I had to stop taking pictures because I was laughing at the two Brooks kids.

I am feeling such a sense of dejavu with Anasytn, maybe because I feel like we just took McCanna's pictures in a basket. I don't know where the years go!! I know the one of McCanna a few years ago is still one of my all time fav's.

The little Knowles kids are my neighbors now ;) Little Karlie has become quite the bike rider and I think our driveway is the turn around spot. What a fun weekend!!! I visited my bestest friend in the whole world, took pictures of her friends, rode horses and took pictures of her family.....

These peaks are her friends. I loved meeting them, and their pictures are awesome. Tinna's arene't up yet.

I loved it...

Isn't she just precious? I love love little newborns. They yawn and they blink really slowly and you think they are ready to fall asleep, but they don't. :(

Or, they fall asleep for like 2 minutes, just long enough for me to get a few pictures. Yippeee...

And, can I just say that Devon is a super big brother. I know this stuff seemed girlie to him, but deep down , I think he enjoyed it. Especially when his mommy sees his smiling pictures. :)

Talk about strong willed!!! LOL

Little Leighton had totally different ideas than her mommy and me. We wanted her to fall asleep and she wanted to stay awake. :)

Usually a little baby will take pictures and get oh so tired and snooze, not her!!!

She was bright eyed and bushy tailed almost the entire time. Isn't she just a doll??
I love her expression in the sepia tone print. She looks like she wants to tell me something doesn't she.. LOL

Well, her mommy worked and worked and yippeee we got some sleeping pictures. She didn't for long though, she only took a tiny cat nap.
